A day at the beach

Just a beaut day to hang out at the beach, so I got the kiddies together and we hit the road to down town Rockingham. But we only got as far as Kwinana beach, we stopped for a toilet brake as you do.... But as soon as the kiddies hit the swings and your's truly took one at a time for a dunny sit, we made up our mind that this was a good enough beach for a day's outing.

So after hitting the 'Well's Park swings', we made our way across to the sandy shores of Kwinana beach. It was a nice quiet beach so after a bit of a splash we went for a bit of Beachcombing, and what did we find? well heaps of shell's but one mother of a starfish, if you have a squizz at the bottom of this photo, you will see a totally awesome ridgie-didge starfish, Strewth I've never seen one that big before.
So after a little play with him (or her) we said 'Hairsta la Vista, Starie' and let it swim away into the sunset to play for another day.
